I feel to review this book based on who I would recommend it to. I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to figure out what their purpose in life is, whether they are married or not. This book has wonderful counsel and advice on how to build your purpose, develop your talents, live your life, and ultimately grow closer to God. None of that depends on your marital status.
Second, I would recommend this book, in fact I might even photo-copy some pages and start handing them out, to everyone I come in contact with that is married. Too many of them seem to have forgotten what it was like to be single. Too many of them can’t imagine a life unless you are married (and then most of them don’t know what to do with their life since they never had their own life). And too many of them really don’t know just how hurtful, painful, and degrading so much of what they say comes across.
The only thing that was missing from this book is the other half of being single, the male half. Perhaps it will require someone who has lived that half to write that book.
